Highly modified bugeye sprite. Alot of money was spent on this car to get it to this level,it is like a race car for the street. It has a fiberglass nose, custom rear fender flares, and painted Speedwell blue. Upgraded to a rebuilt 1275 A series motor, new weber side draft carb.(Italian),headers,custom exhaust, new wiring harness,converted to 12V neg ground, and alternator. Later cross flow radiator,and new hoses. A 5 speed with a Rivergate conversion trans,with an upgraded clutch,and a 3.90 rear,lets it get up to 90 MPH and cruise with no problem. Brakes were upgraded to front discs with new pads and steel braided lines,rear has new shoes and steel braided line,master cyl. has upgraded to 3.25 bore,and new power assist booster. The rims are new wide 13X7 Superlight racing rims with new 215/50 Sumitomo HTR high perfomance tires. This car is a lot of fun to drive and it has been upgraded to modern specs to make it more reliable.
