Vehicle Detail
Hello, I'm selling my 2006 Dodge Ram 3500 Dually with the Cummins diesel engine and 6 spd manual transmission. I've owned this truck for almost 4 years now, and it's been great to me. I have gotten out of the construction work that caused me to buy the truck, so I'm letting it go. This truck is by no means the perfect specimen. It is, however, a very good daily driver that I have never hesitated to climb into and drive across the country. I've made the trip between Minnesota and the Mississippi Gulf Coast in this truck about a dozen times without ever thinking twice. I had a gooseneck ball installed when I first bought the truck to use to pull my dump trailer that hauled my Bobcat. A few months later I sold the Bobcat and stopped using the trailer, other than hauling trash to the dump a couple of times a year. There is also an electric brake controller as well as a 7 pin wiring connector. There is a sprayed in bedliner in the truck. I don't know the brand. The bed is fairly clean, but does have some damage along the rails and on the tailgate. You'll see that in the pictures. There is a block heater installed, and it works quite well. I usually plug the truck in when it gets below zero out, and don't have problems with it starting, even down in the 20's below zero. The air conditioning pump froze up on me last year and I didn't replace it because I had been out of work for a few months when it happened, and it was winter. I have the smaller belt for no a/c in there now. The sliding rear window is supposed to be power, and the wiring and switch are in place, but the cable that pulls the window open frayed and it no longer works. It needs new cables installed to operate. The dealership only wants to do it as a full window replacement for $750, so I've just used it as is for the past 2 years or so. In the past year to 14 months I have replaced both batteries, all 6 tires, the rear brakes and the emergency brakes. I have also had routine oil changes done a couple of times, but haven't used the truck too much as I have a different vehicle for work now. Driver and front passenger heated seatsDriver and front passenger power adjustable seats8' bed with sprayed in bed liner and gooseneck ballPower windows and locks (including lockouts for rear windows and door locks)Storage bins under the rear seats, and fold-flat floor in the back. (Fold flat floor on passenger side is broken at the hinge. Needs new straps installed.)6 disc changer in AM/FM stereo with premium speaker packageLeather seats are in very good shape. No holes.Cruise control and stereo controls on the steering wheelSeparate temperature controls for driver and front passengerI purchased this truck out of Las Vegas where they told me it was a local trade in originally sold at that dealership. The info that I saw on it at the time seemed to back that up. Two of the winters that I owned the truck, I was down in Mississippi working on the Gulf Coast, and this year it's only been on the road 3 times since the first snow, so it hasn't seen a lot of time on the salty roads. Let me know if you have any questions regarding this truck. You can check out the Kelly Blue Book on it and see that I'm not looking to make a killing here. It Blue Books out at around $13,000.00. ($12,085 for Fair to $13,685 for Good, and it's much closer to Good condition). In setting my Blue Book price I included a standard sliding rear window, rather than power, and removed the air conditioning. I'm offering it here at a Buy It Now price of $13,000.00. Please don't ask me what my bottom line is or if I will accept a lower number. If you're interested at a lower price than the buy it now price, bid on the auction price. I have a reserve price set on it, and you will see when it hits my reserve. I have an outstanding loan on the vehicle through TD Auto Finance (formerly Chrysler Financial). I require a down payment of $500 through PayPal within 24 hours of the close of the auction. The balance is due via cashier's check (I'll check on details, but should be payable to TD Auto Finance), cash, or possibly wire transfer to TD Auto Finance if they'll accept that. They will send the lien release and title out within 7-10 days processing time. I am located just outside of Owatonna, MN. I'm about 75 minutes south of the Minneapolis/St Paul Airport. I can arrange to get you here from the airport, or even meet you near the airport with the truck if you fly in from out of town. If you have any other questions about the truck, please ask. I will be happy to answer any questions that I can. I called to inquire as to why there is no longer a Buy It Now option showing on my page and they said that once bidding reaches a certain percentage of the Buy It Now price with significant time left on the auction (in this case it was 6+ days) the Buy It Now option goes away and the sale completes Auction style, even if the bidding goes beyond the Buy It Now price that I originally had set. Again, I apologize for the confusion in this.
