Vehicle Detail

Just in time for spring, this beautiful MGB Roadster is being offered for sale. This car has just been completely refreshed with nearly new everything. Thousands and thousands of dollars spent in this restoration. The car has been completely rebuilt from the inside out. The car does have original mileage. Many, many new parts have been used in this restoration. Truly a fun Roadster with a modest reserve compared to the many hours spent on this car. Nothing has been done to change this car mechanically to modify it so the engine and transmission are completely stock. They have not been rebuilt as they are in very good running condition, apart from the crappy Zeinith carburettor. Put a performance head on this car and a set of SU carburettors and you're ready to have some fun or, just drive it like it is. I did not get the opportunity to have the A Arm bushings replaced but they will be included with the car. They should be replaced. I will also include a hardtop for this car. It is not an original hardtop produced by MG but is a fiberglass one from the same time period. The hardtop has side quarter lights, I believe they open, I haven't had it on the car in a couple years. This is the perfect opportunity to get an MGB with 98% of ALL THE WORK DONE! The only thing you might want to do with this car is tinker with the engine as far as performance mods etc. Maybe add power window lifts, cruise or A/C. If the bid exceeds my reserve, I will also include a factory MGB A/C set-up minus the compressor. Very hard thing to find. Please, no international bidders. Happy bidding! The headlamps, parking, hazard, tail, brake and backup lights all work. This car does have a slight weep at cylinder two. From what I've read this can be remedied pretty easily. Check out John Twist's article on weeping MGB cylinder head. His article makes it seem like a relatively straight forward fix. This one has never gotten any worse so I just hadn't repaired it. I actually forgot it does it until tonight but I wanted everyone to know.
