This is a very very rare car because of the manual 5 speed transmission. I was told they only imported less than 100 5-speed Mercedes SL R129 model. This is an original US car, not imported. The 5 speed is 100x more fun to drive and quite a bit faster than the automatic. In 10 years this car will easily be worth $20k. This is a collector quality car. It has the bulletproof straight 6 engine which is very easy to work on. The odometer stopped at working within the last year and now shows 118k. I know everybody says that but this is true. Actual mileage is 120k-122k miles. It is not in mint condition but it is a very clean very collectable car. There is no rust anywhere on the car. The only thing it really could use are some leather repairs on the front seats. The top keeps out the water for now but it will need replacing in a year or so. This car does NOT have a hardtop. This has been the 3rd car for an elderly gentlemen always garaged. I am selling it for him as he has no computer or Ebay experience. The body has the original paint and only has a few very small pin-head sized chips and one a little bigger on the grill. A few very light scratches that I'm sure will buff out. It does not drip anything but the bottom of the oil pan is moist. Top works as it should, windows work, AC is very cold, heat is hot, original radio works, power antenna works.
