verry rare 1948 hudson convertable one of 22 made in 1948 11 in inline 6 and 11 in inline 8 ...so you have a chance to own a car that u can take to the local swap meet or show and have the only one there one of a kind researching the vin # show that theres only three known 48 convertables left ,,,,,,,ok about the car 48 commodore convertable body and pannels are in great condition most of the paint has been striped and seald in black primer except driver door and fender all the metal is solid without rust holes there is no bondo of any kind in this car there is a little led filler in passanger fender looks like a small ding of some sort but no rot in the body panels bottom of doors perfect trunk floor perfect there is some rot in the bottom of the dash but repairable floor has been replaced with hevy ga steel flat sheet the there is some work to be done in the rear sub frame under the passanger seat and should be done beford attempting to drive the car was sitting on the ground for some years so this section should be boxed in or replaced the rest of the under carrage looks verry well ,,,,ok the engine and 3 speed trans was instaled out of a runing and driving doner veicheal and all gaskets and seals where replaced before installing everything is wired and ready to go and has been tested starts idles shifts foward and reverse ,,,,,,things that should be done still would be brakes for sure ,,,box in rear sub frame,,cover for convertable top all parts there just no cover ,,whatever other mic iteams that u would prefer,,,,seats are not shown in pic bit i do have them frount is rough and needs recovering the rear in good ,,i have the rest of the dash pannels,,rear fender skirts ,,missing door skirts and bumpers,,,,if u look at rear of car u will see that everything was shaved and led in ,,but i do have the orginal rear fenders with the light buckets and a original trunk lid with tag mount and handel,,,,,,,,,,,,,any other questions feel free to ask,,,yes i have tital in hand last reg iowa 1970 thanks for your time
