This is a 1942 Chevrolet 2 Door . Model Deluxe. It is about as original as you can get. It has 48,000 miles that are actual as listed on the title. It has the original interior, which is in very good condition, except for the headliner, and it is not really that bad. The seats are very nice. It runs like a new car, and drives as smooth as silk. It has a 3 speed on the tree. It is Black, with Tan interior. It is as solid as a rock, as I have found no plastic in this car. It appears to be all metal, and looks that way. The chrome is all in good, to, very good condition. The engine compartment is solid, as well as the trunk and undercarriage. They only made the 1942 Chevrolet for 30 days in the 1942 calander year, as the War shut down the factorys. This car was well kept until current. This vehicle had one repaint about 2 years ago. The original paint was not that bad when it was re-painted. Dont let this one get away, as it is fun to drive, and comfortable as well. This car does not smoke, or, have any engine noises at all. Please feel free to have someone come and inspect the car for you. Thats how confident I am regarding its condition. Vehicle must be paid for within 5 days of end of auction.
