This bike is manufactured in 8/72 and titled as a '73 It came to us loaded with all of the period windjammer accessories and travel stuff which is always a great indication that it wasn't hot rodded or abused. It showed up with a set of higher, pull back style bars that we replaced with factory OEM bars. It runs fantastically, we've completely rebuilt all 4 carbs using the correct carb kits. We rebuilt the fuel tap. We replaced the fork seals and fork boots. The grips are the original GT style and are soft and supple. The seat is 100% original and doesn't have a rip or scrape in it at all. The chrome looks great. The front fender has a few small dents, I would probably just have a body shop massage them out as opposed to replacing it. The Exhausts are 100% original with no rust or corrosion. The bike still has the "protect nature" and "tire pressure" stickers on from the factory. The gas tank looks fantastic inside and will not need to be coated or lined in any way. The paint is fantastic, there's barely any sign of fading and there are only 2 very minor dents in the tank. These dents are visible in the pictures and don't detract from the overall fantastic condition of this bike. We've replaced both tires and tubes with period correct tread pattern tires. Everything works right down to the turn signal beeper and beeper-silencer. A mechanically-restored survivor in every sense of the word, show it or ride it. This bike will not let you down.
