Vehicle Detail
This listing is for a 1994 Ford Ranger XLT regular cab pickup. A friend & I took this truck in on a 'trade' on some old Harley servi-car parts we had here, as a partial payment for funds that they lacked to make the deal.. I have driven this truck for about three weeks and it runs GREAT ! ! I JUST had it Newly Inspected, so it is good til 1 / 2013 ! ! Truck has NEW front rotors, bearings and pads installed for inspection, at just over $235 bucks ! Kept old rotors to show for proof. We installed LINCOLN wire wheels on truck, and it looks cool. Has had a muffler replaced last insp, along with rear brakes I was told. I had the shifter replaced, as a bushing or whatever was worn, and the shifter was SLOPPY ! Now, it shifts correctly, and is neat to drive ! Previous owner had both coils replaced, as well as wires, plugs, etc. last summer, he says. Truck runs fine ! Now the bad...... Truck HAS dents ! ! ! Last owner had a run-in w/ a deer, damaging left front end of body. He replaced the light, grille and bumper, but didn't take the fender off. Fender still Has dent ! Right side, he dented while loading his boat on trailer, and truck hopped out of gear and coasted into some sort of landing or barricade, and slid along it. Rear gate needs handle, but can open from inside gate. OK, all that does NOTHING against what it RUNS like though......... 4 cylinder, 5 speed is a GREAT little package ! I drove it just over 100 miles home when picking it up, and put 10 bucks into the tank. Made it here with a bit still left ! ! ! GOOD gas mileage ! ! ! HAS ball on bumper for hitch to trailer. He used to pull a bass boat around all the time with it. He was retired and spent his days in Delaware fishing. Guess coming home was where he encountered the deer. IF you are NOT afraid of a few dents (OR maybe can fix them yourself) this will be a FANTASTIC running truck. Also HAS rear box for tools on back in box. That will go with truck also. COME drive it ! It is a good running vehicle... Just look 'past' the dents ! Personally, I think if someone bought it to haul junk or parts, the dents shouldn't make ALL that much difference..... I KNOW IF I kept it, it would surely have more, till I was through...... Its just NOT a 'looking pretty' truck.... Its a WORK truck.... Stop by and check it out, You wont be disappointed ! ! This vehicle, and the others I have advertised are for sale due to my CUTTING my left thumb OFF last summer. I have been cleaning things out, trying to make some money back from all the bills that came to be paid through it. plus, we just got the 'bill' for the insurance renewals for these vehicles. I just CANT afford it with all the work missed through this injury... BILLS come first. Time to sell and re-evaluate..... Looks like I'm gonna be doing automatics from now on.... just DON'T trust shifting anymore... Not for now, anyway... So, my loss could be your gain..... As with my other listings, I reserve the RIGHT to cancel this listing at ANY TIME, as I HAVE this truck & all my other vehicles listed for SALE locally here ! ! First acceptable offer will take them. So, IF interested, come out and drive the truck ! You WILL enjoy how EASY it is to drive ! ! CALL me or mail with any questions. Bill 484-794-5549 - coellectors@verizon.net. lets talk....... Please note: This truck is in my FRIEND'S name, and title will have to be signed by him to sell. He has agreed to meet us when ready, and sign title. N-O problem.. Just so you realize that I do NOT have the title signed now. NO 'open' title will go through our hands here. It will be done correctly at a Notary. Also NOT knowing WHY it keeps saying "Front wheel drive" when I check listing. It is N-O-T, obviously...... 2 wheel drive, (REAR), NOT 4 wheel drive, either. PLEASE NOTE
