We do things differently. In a world of custom motorcycles that could have been made by any custom motorcycle builder, we don't follow. Simply put… we blend BMW engineering with Harley-Davidson bobber / chopper motorcycle design and Ducati-inspired design to create a daily-rider timeless motorcycle that incorporates BMW reliability, unique design ideas and comfort. With a marketing and design background at Harley-Davidson I have personally admired the timeless styling and heritage of Harley-Davidson's motorcycles. When I first joined Harley-Davidson Arlen Ness was the only 'real' high profile motorcycle builder… the Boyd Coddington of Motorcycles. His designs looked stunning, but not daily riders in my opinion and while I admired the design they were more pieces of art than functional motorcycles. I was lucky enough to be involved in the Art of the Harley art exhibition at the Barbican Center in London where I got up close and personal with many of the leading custom motorcyles of the time. In the early 1990's I was the owner of a Harley-Davidson while my friends in London were Ducati, Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki pocket rocket motorcycle riders. I would admire the cornering the speed but also be terrified of the power in these small motorcycles. Harley-Davidson and Triumph motorcycles appealed to me because you sat more upright, they were more comfortable, and while clearly not as fast, they were still fast enough to enjoy the reason we all enjoy motorcycles...the freedom of the open road. Then I had the chance to ride a BMW motorcycle...I was impressed with the comfort, the effortless riding, the handling and seating position and found a motorcycle that would be the best of both worlds - comfort and great handling (and of course the cool factor of a BMW). But the styling was still off to me. I still looked at custom motorcycles and drooled. After years of thinking about the possibility of making a BMW motorcycle more stylish I decided to search for a motorcycle builder that would understand my vision and share my enthusiasm for combining BMW engineering with beautiful design. I've been a long time fan of Moto Guzzi, Ducati and MV Agusta - stunning Italian motorbike design incorporated with Ferrari-like handling but nothing matches BMW's reliability and daily-rider mentality. While there are many faster motorcycles I wanted to create a level of comfort and style that appears classic and timeless but has never been done before. After meeting with over 50 custom motorcycle builders I found Ivan (based just outside out of New York City)… a motorcycle builder that understands practicality, style and attention to detail. His knowledge of material use and engineering made him the obvious choice to head up the motorcycle manufacturing. I shared plans with Ivan, we sat down several times to simplify the design process without sacrifice. We discussed measurements, frames, seating positions, handle bars, springs, shocks, tanks, batteries, carbon fiber, kevlar and how to bring to life a need breed of BMW motorcycle that was the ultimate riding machine with unrivalled design lines and comfort. The end result is stunning. A daily riding custom BMW motorcycle with carbon fiber vintage Ducati styled gas tank, matching carbon fiber fenders and exhaust pipes. The hand-built custom BMW motorcycles operate with the ultimate reliability and comfort. The unique adjustable vintage style bobber motorcycle seat fits riders of all heights and the available carbon fiber color options suit all tastes. It's been a long journey to build something practical and stylish. I'm proud of our BMW custom motorcycles and would like to thank those involved in the process (from all around the country). I've been lucky enough to find the best manufacturers, materials and vendors to bring my BMW custom motorcycle vision to life and I'm even more happy that we have finance programs available to make ownership of a custom motorcycle within easy reach of most motorcycle riders. ________________________________________________ ANY OTHER INFORMATION ABOUT THIS BIKE PLEASE FEEL FREE TO EMAIL ME. *Shipping is total responsibility from the buyer and bike will keep in store for not more than 3 weeks.
