Vehicle Detail
This is an original Willys MB Manufactured 5-10-45 Military WWII jeep. Its mostly original and with very minimal rust spots. The drive train runs great and I have been driving the Jeep around Fullerton with no problems since I bought it. It has 5 (yes even the spare is new)new Firestone NDT- Non directional tread- Military tires and tubes as it did 67 years ago. It also has a new battery The jeep has the original flat head four cylinder engine with the original 3 speed transmission. Its obviosly 4x4. At some point someone painted the engine bay blue, so thats why you see that in the pictures. The shovel and Ax are included and were in the garage when pictures taken. I have a bunch of misc items that are included 1x Gallon - Olive Drab paint 2x new reflectors 2x grill black out light 2x hood blocks 2x hood to windshield latch 2x leather shifter covers 1x choke cable assembly 2x rear handles 1x set of fuel tank straps New OE -Miltary replica front seat covers I had been slowly restoring the jeep but I have some business interests that require the time and money that I have been applying to this hobby. I found a couple of online sites that have just about everything that you could replace on this vehicle. Its been fun but I'll let someone else to enjoy. The jeep runs great and could be used daily i guess, but I think this is probably something one would restore to the original condition. The jeep has a power brake booster from and early CJ5, and aftermarket handbrake, and someone welded a roll bar that I removed except for the ends that need to be cut carefully with die grinder or plasma cutter. It's a great little jeep, a piece of American History. If you have questions email me at Socalcruiser161 at G Mail or call me at Area Code ##Seven One Four## -- 798-#7310 undercarriage pictures of affected areas. The pictures make the surface rust look worse than the naked eye. The rail under the passenger side has been reinforced and the drivers side should be replaced.
