Vehicle Detail

About five years ago I started the restoration on this car. After investing over $10,000 I am ready to sell it. Most of the time it just sits in the driveway although I do drive it at least two miles a day. Some days I take it out on the highway to give it time to heat up. I cant even remember what all I have done to this car be here are some of the things that I DID do. GEX 1835 crate motor $2000 Clutch/pressure plate/throwout bearing $200 New paint and body parts (fenders/rear assembly etc) $4200 Dash/horn ring/headliner/heater boxes/ and cables $550 Fuel guage/sending unit/ Electronic ignition system $200 Tires and chrome wheels $600 Front and rear bumpers and rubber/headlight rings/VW emblim $$300 Screw on type oil filter There is much more but those are the main things. The car runs fine, starts easy even in cold weather, shifts fine doesnt pull one way or another. I have run out of funds and patience in restoring this vehicle and just want it gone. I am paying insurance on it and not driving it much so its time to move on to another project There are some things wrong with it still. I went to store it last year and backed into a trailer and put a dent in the passenger side fender. Easily repaired. Body shop wanted $300 for a turnkey job but I think I could do the repair if I wanted to. The fuel filler neck leaks fuel when you fill it up so I only put three or four gallons of fuel in it at a time. VERY easy fix. The fuel guage works backward....I replace all the compenents and then took it to a garage TWICE and they re replaced the parts and it STILL reads backwards...fill it up and it burys into the E...as you run out it climbs. It leaks two drops of oil overnight. I drove this car first from Oklahoma to Georgia and then from Georgia to Virginia with no problems. I didnt do 70mph but the car will easily do that speed. I was offered $4000 just before I moved to Virginia and I guess I should have taken it but I knew that I had over 10K in it and wasnt ready to sell it. The engine and tires have about 13 -18 thousand miles on them. The pans have no rust on them and there is a small repair under the battery area. I am second owner. Ebay is not allowing me to post photos so just email me and I will send you some. If you use Paypal there is a 3% charge. CASH or paypal only. No warranty. Lights all work AM radio works. THIS VEHICLE IS LOCATED IN NEWPORT NEWS VIRGINIA
