Vehicle Detail
1971 Triumph T25T Trail blazer, authentic and unrestored. 4,033 original miles! This is a nice bike, it has alot of original patina, the only real flaw is a dent in the right side of the tank, it's shallow and it's not a crease, it's accessible to location of the gas cap for a qualified dent technician to be able to get it out without ever knowing it was there, his job will be much easier since the tank is aluminum. Everything on this bike is completely original, (Correction, almost everything, with the exception of the fuel lines a few clamps and possibly the petcocks), everyone of the bolts have the correct stampings and none of them have been replaced. All lenses are Lucas, front headlight original Lucas sealed beam, back taillight original lucas, not a repro, correct screws, turn signals lucas, switches, etc. The tires are the original Dunlop Trials Motor Cycle w/some cracking and the rims are in excellent condition, the chrome shines, the spokes are all tight and there are no rusted spokes. The front wheel is the original 20" rim and the bike will come with a new condition never mounted Avon 20" x 2.75" front tire. I've seen some of these bikes where the front 20" rim had been replaced with a 21" wheel, the trailblazer SS came with a18" front wheel and the T25T came with a 20" front wheel. The fork tubes have no pitting the fork caps are very nice, two new dust covers come with the bike. The chrome on the headlight and headlight bucket is pitting free and shines. The fenders are clean underneath no rust. There is a small crack in the front fender on the left side which can be seen by the fork tube, nothing major, an extra used fender is included but the one on the bike is nicer. The original skid plate is also included. The seat has no rips in it and no scuffs on it. All electrics work, all new fluids in the bike, the engine cases have a decent shine to them and would probably polish up very well. The exhaust and heat shield is in very good condition, all original screws in heat shield. Brakes in good working condition as is the transmission and clutch. Included will be the original owners manual in excellent condition, an original parts replacement manual also in excellent condition, a reproduction loose leaf spiral bound copy of an original factory shop manual accompanied by the same shop manual on a CD. I have a box of parts that includes gaskets, filters, etc. all for this bike which I may include with the bike. No reserve but starting price is what it is, the bike is not up for sale locally so the auction shouldn't end abruptly. Clear FLA. title. Can take to local shipping dock. *****Guess I was a little over zealous trying to state how original the bike is, this is a hobbyist collector's bike, a knowledgeable T25 ebayer didn't hesitate to point out to me that the fuel lines, petcocks (the petcocks look original to me but I'm not a T25 expert), and clamps on carb (looks oroginal to me too) and wire clamp on handlebars is not original according to this person, ( do you really want 40 year old fuel lines on a running bike? So I just want people that don't know this to please be aware of it now, thanks. Obviously I'm not an expert on this bike, however I can tell the hardware (bolts) are original, etc. I know enough about old bikes to recognize an unmolested and unabused example. A guy named, Wes Scott, a local legend, the #1 triumph mechanic/restoration specialist in south florida who has also been featured in Classic Bike was very impressed with the condition of this bike. All the decals for the sidecovers, etc. are available on ebay from a british supplier. My thing is more the vintage japanese bikes but I still like looking at this bike.
