We purchased this white1995 Passat GLX wagon to use as a second vehicle when a second job required extensive travel. Two years later, the job ended and we no longer needed the Passat wagon. In the three years and nine months since we purchased the wagon, we have driven it less than 5,500 miles. As shown in the pictures it is still a good looking wagon. The clearcoat has broken down on the roof and hood, so it is a little dull, but it still looks good, . A coat of clear and it will almost look new. The VR6 6-cylinder engine runs fantastic. This is a smooth riding Passat wagon with the automatic transmission and we were getting up to 28 miles per gallon on the highway. I had alot of work performed to bring it to it current condition, including having a NEW heater core installed. This was a very labor intensive job and having had it replaced is a big plus on this wagon. The power sunroof and the power windows work fine. The adjustable seat heater also works. I don't have an owner's manual or the radio code. The radio works, but when the battery was replaced, the radio locked. The VW dealer will need the serial number from the radio to give you the security code. The ac isn't working. I had it checked out and the system is charged, but the compressor isn't working. We don't have an AC shop in our area, so I'm supplying a good tested ac compressor with the wagon.
