For Sale: 1991 Volvo 740 Wagon 196,000 (+-) miles Dark Green Exterior, Tan Interior, Dependable Safe Car, Air Bag and Anti-Lock Brakes ! We ended up doing some work for state inspection and drove it over 4,000 miles in about 5 months. It has been dependable and trouble free other than maintenance, preventive maintenance and the heater core. The heater core was an expensive job but it's done and the car is ready for the road. I would drive it anywhere. Engine sounds good - car drives perfectly. Garage kept during my ownership. No Known Issues. Terrific on the highway, Good Power. State Inspection work included exhaust / brakes / emissions / lights, etc inspection. Some of the work shown below was to pass inspection - other work like the timing belt and water pump was done to ensure reliable operation. Confident that this car has many miles left in it.
