I have a 1986 AMC Jeep CJ-7 that is ready to go. This Jeep is in such good shape. California car with NO RUST. This was bought from an estate sale and had been in storage for over 10 years. So I had the carburetor professionally rebuilt and tuned. Had a complete tune up done including points, plugs, wires, cap, rotor etc. Had the A/C converted to 134 so it is up to date and blows ICE COLD. I can't tell you what a rare find this is. It gets compliments wherever it goes. The paint, body, and interior I would classify as a 9 of 10. There is only one small spot at the back of the hood the paint flaked off an edge. Hardly noticeable. It is that clean. My plan was to lift it and put wheels and tires on it but I just have had a change in priorities. The only thing I have not replaced mechanically is the exhaust. I have seen systems from $150 to $500 so I thought I would leave that decision for the next owner. This is when a Jeep was a Jeep. They don't build them like this anymore. One solid reliable 4 wheel drive. 6 cylinder motor, 5 speed manual transmission. It has a aftermarket sunroof. Lock boxes over the wheel wells that serve as armrests too and speaker boxes. Locking console between the front seats. Locking tool box under the hood. I just installed an Alpine stereo with MP3 hookup.
