If you have been waiting for the right 87 thru 89 Carrera, have a look at this one. As you already know, this is the first year that Porsche built these cars with the almighty G50 transmission. If you look at how it sits, and get to drive it, you will know that the people at Porsche really intended to have it be just this way. They built it, following all the rules, and left it up to the enthusiast to do the rest, and that is precisely what you see before you. It's an excellent example, and performs in the manner it was designed for. Pure exhilaration ! It has the history, you hope to find when looking for one of these machines. I have an 11 page CarFax without a flaw in its report. The all original interior has the slight patina you hope to find, and the all original pristine body, has every DOT sticker on every panel to prove it, so there's no accident history, which is also documented in the CarFax, and ebay's vehicle history report. Everything works correctly, even the clock. It's always been a California car, and never exposed to corrosive road materials, and never left out in the sun for that type of damage either. One of the most significent features, in addition to its high option list, is that you won't see another one in this unique color combination, as it was special ordered with this exterior color, and contrasting interior, excercising Porsche's Color To Sample option, which was expensive, especially when ordering both, and having Porsche hunt for the interior materials, in the color the buyer supplied. It's well preserved for the next custodian to carry the torch.
