Selling a 1983 Chevrolet ElCamino. Equipped with the 229 V-6 and has headers w/dual exhaust. Automatic transmission. Aftermarket stereo. The truck was a daily driver and runs fairly well. Just drove it 200 miles with no problem. Showing 11895 miles on the odometer, but true mileage unknown. The body is very solid for the year, but has a few areas that will need attention. The bottoms of the doors has surface rust. The rear passenger's side quarter panel has surface rust. That's it on the rust issues! The floor pans are solid with no holes. Very rare for these vehicles. The paint is faded as shown. All of the guages work as do the lights and turn signals. The interior is cloth and not perfect. All glass is solid. Clear title. This is a 28 year old truck, not a new one, so do your diligence and ask all questions prior to bidding!!! As with any motor vehicle, I cannot guarantee that it will make it to your destination without problems. Having said that, the truck was a daily driver and was just driven 200 miles. I require a $500.00 non-refundable deposit with the balance due within 3 days and prior to pickup.
