Ive owned this bike for about a year. It has been reliable as most bmw are. Bike has new tires, new seat, been converted to LWB with a 5 speed electric start transmission. the electrical has been gone over. Everything works except for the odometer is stuck and tach needle is missing. Engine starts fine. Takes a few tries when cold, but still starts fine for a daily driver. The bike is in driver condition. This r75 was painted once, a VERY long time ago so it shows some nice character and patina. No pinstripes on fenders. Bike is not pristine didnt want it that way when i bought it kept it that way save for the cafe seat. The top end was redone by prior owner with dual plug heads. That being said it still gets thumbs up everywhere and lots of compliments. Bike its NOT restored,40 years old ,so it has its quirks as all old vehicle do, so its sold AS IS. Its been a reliable daily driver! Only reason for sale is i need to finish my car project and this doesnt get the time it deserves. Its for sale locally, so I reserve the right to end the auction early. Shipping is paid buy buyer and all arrangements are made by the buyer.
