Greetings! I am listing this 1997 Pontiac Firebird V6 with 82,600 miles for a local Gentleman in St. Petersburg. He is the original owner and decided that it's time to let her go to a new home. I drove the car and it runs very well. It shifts smoothly, and feels tight. A/C works, and just about everything else too. The "Service Engine Soon" and "Security" warning lights come on and off from time to time—the owner said that for the past 7 years or so this has been the case, even after taking it to his mechanic, and that these electrical symptoms are typical on these cars. Also, the shift boot plastic shroud is missing (see photo). He said that it broke off not too long ago, but replacing it should not be a big deal at all. The paint is original and cosmetically it's in pretty good shape, specially for the age of the car. One of the best things that I noticed first about this Firebird was how straight the body is... Almost flawless! The front section of the car is plastic so you can see some discoloring which it's also common on these cars. Also, the tinted windows are starting to peal off. Please keep in mind that this is a 15 year old car so keep expectations accordingly, so there may be some blemishes here and there that I missed! To sum it up, and for those who enjoy these type of cars, this Firebird has been well maintained and very original that's ready to go to a new home. It has low miles for his age too!
