1999 Ford E-250 13-Passenger Van with mid-level raised roof conversation by New England Wheels. VIN #1FTNS24L0XHA29526. Current mileage is 260,411. White with gray vinyl interior. Front air conditioning with rear ducts and controls as well. 8,600-lb GVWR. AM/FM Stereo. LT225/75R16E. 5.4 Triton 5.4-liter V-8 gas engine. Mesh running board under driver’s door and passenger side doors. This van starts right up and idles well. It shows good indicated oil pressure. It is a little bit loud and might have a small exhaust leak. It is not currently state inspected and last underwent a Massachusetts State 7D inspection for pupil transportation on 3/4/11. There are some minor rust bubbles on this van and Bondo in various spots on the rocker panels. There is no major rusted through areas though. The rust bubbles are mostly on the bottom of the rear door (on the right side, at the top of the rain gutter and on the right rear quarter panel. The frame shows a little bit of surface rust, but no rot. The rear bumper is bent. There is a little bit of surface rust on the driver’s side door jam. The passenger’s side door jam is clean. One of the fenders has a dent on it. There is a crack in the hood. There is a dent in the right rear corner. The glass is good. The van runs and yard drives without any issues. It is not registered, so it cannot be driven on any public roads. The brakes feel good and the parking brake works. The steering feels good. The transmission goes in and out of gear fine, although the linkage feels a little bit stiff. It could need a shifter cable down the road. The air conditioning appears to blow cold. The front tires are good, the rear tires are fair. Note - The van needed a jump start, the last time that I moved it. It probably needs a new battery, but once jumped it runs great. This would make a great work van with the seats out of it or it could be used for transport. This van is located in Lyman, Maine. It can be picked up there or viewed there. Note - This van is being sold by one of my businesses, which owns it. This particular van is not being sold by a dealership and therefore does not have a temporary plate available. It would be available for pick-up by appointment only and we request that it be picked up within seven days of the sale unless other arrangements are made. Pick-up is often from an active school bus yard and may only be available during school days and regular business hours unless special arrangements are made. We do not offer shipping.
