1986 Military Chevy 4x4 VanUsed by the Navy Seals 8000 Original Miles NO RESERVE I bought this van a couple years ago, it came from the Little Creek Military Base in Virginia. It was used by the Navy Seals to haul their ordinances around on base. Original color is Olive Drab Green, I put a coat of Olive Drab Primer on it so it wouldn't rust. This van is solid, runs 100%. I have inspection papers to show it only has 8000 original miles. It drives nice. It should have a paint job put on it. It has a few dings, nothing major. The only hole that was in the body of this van was from a M16 when they exited the vehicle, the gun went off - that's what I was told. I welded that hole shut. During the time I have owned it, I have put cross over steering on it with titanium heim ends. I put traction ladders on the back. It has the factory exhaust. I have put a CD player, it was radio delete. I have a new set of bucket seats with arm rest that will be installed in the van before it leaves. It has 35" Dick Cepek Tires about 1/2 thread. The 4x4 installation was done by a professional when this van was bought by the Navy. It starts with a touch of a key. Carburated 350 Automatic, Slip Joint Drive Shaft, Lock-out Hubs. This van really works and it's got the Wow Factor. The front end doesn't have any shocks, it will need mounts built on the top part of the frame. I have driven it like this for 2 years. When I drive it back and forth to work, it's an 80 mile round trip with no problem. A little rough riding in the front on bad roads. It drives very straight, 1 finger at 80 mph. The back bumper has some dings. I also have a Military Push Bar for the front that goes with it. Needs a set of headlight rings. I will change oil before it goes and re-install the mirrors. This is the only Military 4x4 Van I have ever seen like this. In the back of the van they have plywood lockers built with hasp locks with red lights in them for night. Any questions, contact me.
