Vehicle Detail
This is a 1971 Triumph T120RV Bonneville. It is one of around 200 ever produced by Triumph in 1971. This is a 1971 RV model, which is a 5 speed 650cc. The RV 5 speed did not go into mass production until 1972. The '71 T120RV, 5-speed Bonnevilles were manufactured by Triumph to permit them to be used in American Motorcycle Association production-based racing. In order to race, all bikes had to be made and sold to the public in the same basic form as they would be raced. To meet this requirement Triumph had to produce and sell at least 200 of them before they qualified. The exact number built is not readily known but suspected to be slightly over the 200 requirement. This bike is a two (2) owner with it's current owner since the mid 80's. It has 13,546.5 actual miles on it. This is one of very few pieces of history left to be purchased in the public market so please don't let this collectors item pass you by!!! The bike is in great condition with no problems and can be ridden anywhere. Matching engine and frame numbers and is 90% original. Brand new Amal 930 carbs on the bike however the original Amal 930 carbs come with the bike. The original 930 carbs need new slides. Recent tune up (coils, condensers, points, spark plugs, ect...). New rear tire; front 80% tread remaining. Low miles on new chain and sprocket. New Barrett clutch. This is a very comfortable bike to ride and it shows excellent. You will not be disappointed with this bike!! Please serious inquiries only. The bike will come with a clear Florida title and a Bill of Sale. If you would like to inspect the bike before you place your bid please contact me through Ebay. THIS IS A NO RESERVE AUCTION SO THE HIGHEST BIDDER WINS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I would prefer local pickup however I will ship the bike at the winning bidders expense world wide.
