WHEN IS THE LAST TIME YOU SAW ONE? Up for bid is our VERY RARE ~~~1940 Oldsmobile Woodie wagon. This was the first year of production for an Olds Woodie. 633 were made and only four are known to exist today. We have owned this car since 1982 and have the complete history since new. We did a sympathetic restoration in the late 80's, trying to preserve as much as possible. The structural wood is all original, all three seats and the headliner wear the original upholstery. The end result is a car with stunning chrome, paint and wood ~ with tremendous charm! We enjoyed being invited to display the car at Pebble Beach in 1996 ~~ It's a very solid, unique car that shows and drives wonderfully today! We've thoroughly enjoyed driving the car and the many adventures and lasting friendships over the last thirty years.
