This is the one you have been waiting for!!! I bought this vehicle 5 years ago out of Georgia and planned on doing a frame off restoration on it when I retired. The reason I bought it was I had a white 63 Impala when I was in high school. I met the owner about 400 miles from here, he drove 200, made the deal and drove it home. In the mean time the market crashed, we now have 3 grandchildren, and my interests rest more with the little ones now. As you can see from the photos the frame mounts and rubber donuts are original and in good condition. Also it has the original metal in the quarters and the trunk. It has a few small bubbles in the paint in the lower doors and lower front fenders and quarters. The rear windows work well however the front windows need a little help when rolling them back up. The radio, heater, horn and wipers do not work nor does the original factory air unit however the air unit is all there. In 2000 a GM 350 crate motor was installed by Smedleys Chevrolet in Vandalia OH with 65K showing on the odometer and the vehicle now shows 74K. I am sure the miles are not actual however the odometer and speedometer have worked the whole 5 years I have owned the car. This vehicle has power steering, T-10 4 speed transmission with hurst shifter Corvette rallye wheels, and the seats and door panels have been redone. The carpet is faded however it is not worn through. I would guess the repaint and interior are about 10 to 12 years old. This vehicle looks real good from 20 feet and not bad from 10. I have driven it about 200 miles per year and enjoyed it and it gets a lot of looks going down the road.
