This is a 1963 Pointiac LeMans convertible. The previous owner bought it in Indiana in 1975, But never drove it., although it ran at the time. He but it in his garage and did not take it out until last year, to put it in a barn. It is very complete, missing only the glove box lock and the wiper motor. 0ne year only body style, last of the independent rear suspension with a transaxle. It is a 4 cylinder 2 bbl. , 3 speed stick on the floor, has power top. Interior condition is complete less carpet, seats are in good usable comndition, door and rear side panels are the same, but the carpet at the bottom is very faded. We pulled the remainder of the carpet out to check floor condition. Body condition is very restorable, some rust in front of and behind the rear wheels ,and the left rocker at the front. The body does not have any major dents or bangs. Some prior repairs were made to the right door and left quarter panel, but does not appear to be rust repair. The floors appear very solid except for the area of the drivers foot. The trunk floor is also solid, except for the flat area directly under the taillights. This is a flat panel, easily replaced or repaired. The folding tiop frame and mechanism are intact and appear to be in good condition, working condition unknown. The canvas top has been removed. The dash is also complete (less glove box lock as previously mentioned). I have the original keys also. The clutch and transmission appear to be functioning as they should. The motor ,however , is locked up, I have it soaked down with PB Blaster, but it has not freed up. The car needs some of everything, but when completed you should have a very rare Pontiac convt, and get high gas mileage to boot. Local pickup only, may deliver if neccessary, check before bidding.
