This is a nice little Karmin Ghia. It has been in my family since it was new in 1972. My grandmother bought it from Douglas Motors in Summit N.J. new in 1972 and I have the original window sticker. I purchased it from my grandfather in 1997 after my grandmother passed away. The 48,902 miles are oringinal. The car runs and drives well. I have put on the black aftermarket wheels,as well as and aftermarket steering wheel.( I have the originals that go with the car and come with the sale) There is no rust on the car other than some small surface rust spots where any paint may have chipped off. There is also a 1 foot long scratch over the passanger side rear wheel well where someone keyed it. The paint is decent and shines well with a good waxing.The dashboard hes the typical crack in the center where the speaker holes are.The glovebox cover also is cracked which is normal in this car.The motor is original with new plugs,wires,cap and points. also have a bosch blue coil installed. I have tons of extras for this car,including and engine,engine stand,every piece of rubber and weather striping for it plus much more. The car has been repainted by Volkswagen in the late 70s.
