This 1971 Dodge p/u is in good condition for a forty year old truck. I believe the truck was originally sold to a fire dept. The paint appears to be original and you can still read the numbers on the roof, markings on door are unclear. The truck was originally equipped with a 383, automatic, 3.55 posi, and power brakes. Aside from the fact that the engine is not original, it is still equipped this way. I purchased the truck in 1997 and used it as my daily driver until I bought my '96 CTD in '04. I kept the truck thinking I would make a weekend hot rod out of it, but with two race cars and five muscle cars in various stages of restoration, I know getting to the truck is a long way off. What the pictures don't show is some rust in the floor of the cab. The steps and jams are solid. The windshield is cracked and needs new rubber. This truck runs and drives, but would need a brake tune up, a left front wheel bearing, and current tags to be road worthy. I expect a 10% non refundable deposit via Paypal with in 24 hours of end of auction. The balance by money order/cashiers check/cash within 7 days of end of auction.
