1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTC Cabriolet ......please be patient while the photos load..... 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTC Cabriolet for sale, one of the rarest Italian sports cars ever made! This 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Spring GTC cabriolet is one of less than 1,000 examples ever built. It is in need of almost everything, but it is an excellent candidate to restore correctly and to your own specifications. What you see in the pictures is what comes with the car. I purchased this GTC from the estate of an Alfa enthusiast who owned it for many years. It was last street registered in 1972. I understand it was used for some club racing, but there is no log book. The pictures describe the condition pretty accurately. It’s in need of a full restoration, and presumably a donor GTV or Sprint GT. Restored models have recently sold in the $60-80K range. Fewer than 100 of these cars are still known to exist. This is my personal car. I have a clear, California title, vin# AR755452. Car is located in Northern California in Sonoma. You can reach me by cell at 707-332-8331. The car was based on the Giulia Sprint GT, with the cabriolet modification and Supperleggera coachwork by Touring of Milan. The car is badged with a script reading "Giulia Sprint GTC" on the trunk. It is a correct GTC, Tipo 105.25. To restore some of the bodyshell rigidity lost by removing the fixed roof and pillars, Carrozzeria Touring added reinforcement to several areas of the bodyshell. Several modifications to the reinforcement applied were made by Touring, apparently in an effort to improve the stiffening achieved. Carrozzeria Touring was in financial trouble when the Giulia Spring GTC went into production. The company went out of business during production of the GTC.
