Here is the VIN: wv2zb0252lg120342 1990 vanagon westfalia westy campervan VW with a Video link (no reserve) 178k miles runs great, maintained well. all camp stuff works: pop top, sink, stove, fridge, awning, two great beds etc Comfy as the dickens! Reason for getting rid of her: I recently bought a mercedes Diesel that runs on WVO...and I'm never going back to gas!!! :) Plus, I became to afraid of hurting it. I baby it way to much for a cool camper. Once you start doing that, the car's gotta go. that and I don't like paying for gas anymore! :) All tuned up and ready for Yosemite. Trans is awesomeengine is an oxNo leaks great power will not overheatNo body rust on body (I am in California and didn't even know that "rust" on the body is a common thing back east...no snow here! ) :D ...solid ride folks! Recent fixes: master cyl., starter switch, starter. The only problem with the car that I am ironing out: The wiper motor is bad. But to answer some questions I got the last time I posted it; -paint is a little scratched but nothing radical -Yes the Harry Coleman thing is real, very neat! -gets about 15-20 mpg -it is easy to find help with it because of a very active online community for VW campers -yes, it is perfect for "Living in down by the river" thank you C. Farley ;) -The bat in the video has been there since we got it, Harry coleman was ready for rough and tumblin -and no, presently the car does not leak anti freeze. I stopped the last leak with a $2 o ring from a vw shop. No major fixes since I've had her. (it comes with a very extensive maintenance record from Harry) On Dec-22-11 at 20:27:54 PST, seller added the following information: UPDATE: A/C and Wiper are both 100% -Air conditioning is now 100% - FIX= just needed a "charge" of freon -Windshield wipers are now 100% - FIX= bad fuse...(crack so small I didn't see the break) The Westy is ready for the Rain AND ready for the Heat!! ...Whoever gets this Westy is going to be 1 happy camper other things worth knowing: -1 of the back seat seat blets are missing the "male" end. -easy fix (RockAuto.com or a bunch ow Westy-specific sites) -I don't encourage addming maddness to your life ....but it is totally legal to do anything you do in a giant RV in this Westy (Booze, no seatbelts etc...) Same rules as a house. In fact an aspect that became more and more awesome to me was the fact that you insure it as an RV, so your insurance is about $200 a year. ...Sweet -The Westy comes with a bunch of small spare parts.
