This is a clean, straight 300D turbo diesel that needs some work done on the transmission. I bought it a few months ago with the problem, and the intention of getting it fixed, but haven't had the time. It starts every time, burns and leaks no oil as far as I can tell, and when I did drive it, it ran brilliantly. I just shifted it manually from 1st into drive, and drove from Chico to Santa Cruz, back and forth to Oakland a few times, and around town for a month or so just fine before parking it a couple weeks ago. But today, I tried to use it and couldn't get it into gear. It will go into reverse, and sometimes drive off fine, but sometimes slips before moving. I spoke to a few places and they say it may just need a service, or maybe some seals. I don't know, or have the time to run around checking it out. So, I am not offering any diagnosis. Buy this as is, no warranty. Having said all of that. this car is straight, the electrics work, including the sunroof, except the power antenna which has been disconnected at some point. The tires are good, interior is nice, with one tiny whole/tear in the driver's seat, and a loose bit of trim on the glove box. There is no stereo in the car. The body is clean, with only one small chip on the drivers side wheel arch, and a few chips in the paint, that may even buff out. Shame to sell it, but I work far too much, and haven't the time to spend sorting out the transmission issue. Cash on collection please - ( Price is US dollars, not sure why it comes up as GBP...) Roof racks not included in sale, sorry.
