Vehicle Detail

First off, I would like to keep the car although Dave Ramsey says to sell, so here I am. I do have the cars clear title in my hand ready to turn over to the new owner. This car will be sold to the highest bidder! This IROC-Z features an upgraded suspension with lowered springs, specially valved shocks, larger diameter sway bars, a special decal package, and an optional 5.7-Liter Tuned Port Injection engine that was borrowed from the Corvette. This car is in great condition but is not new. All power options function. It starts, stops, and performs excellent. Seller will include a brand new battery with purchase the current just got to the point it needs charged frequently. This 1988 Group 3 (FZA3) true collector’s edition IROC was the 132,883rd Camaro to roll off the assembly line at the Van Nuys California assembly plant. A complete list of RPO’s is available upon request if you cannot make them out in the picture. In 1988 there were 96,275 Camaros produced, of that total: · 24,050 of the 96,275 were IROC-Z Coupes (1FP87) · 24,158 were Flame Red (Dark Red) (L8748) · 19,662 came equipped with the power antenna (U75) · 12,116 were equipped with the 350ci, 230hp V8 (B2L) · 5,966 were equipped with rear window louvers (DE1) · 9,941 were equipped with the locking rear storage compartment (D27) · 4,457 were equipped with the BOSE sound system (UU8) The above noted options are what make this car a one of a kind dealer order (1AY) car. Chevrolet assembled LESS THAN 4,457 IROC-Z's with these options in the 1988 Model Year. How many survived? Better yet, how many 5.7 liter, BOSE sound system equipped examples in this condition still exist? Some of the performance upgrades I had professionally installed include: $300 New Headliner $50 K&N Air Filters $400 Edlebrock Intake $400 SLP Runners (ported and matched) $300 Custom programmed Performance Chip $200 under drive pulleys $250 Aluminum Driveshaft $200 High performance Lower control arms $130 High Performance Pan hard Bar $300 Sub frame connectors $280 3.70 Gears $350 Professional Rebuilt Stage 3 Carrier $2300 Professional Rebuilt 700R4 with a B&M shift kit $600 Edge Racing Converter $650 Edlebock Headers and Y Pipe $30 Gutted Converter $450 Flowmaster Exhaust $250 B&M Megashifter These performance modifications helped the car pull 268 hp at the rear wheels on the dyno, which is +38 hp over stock. Whether you owned a third generation Camaro in the past or you just had a poster of the legendary IROC growing up, it is time to re-live that memory by owning one today. If you have been searching for a loaded limited production 350 Tuned Port Injection IROC-Z then this may be the car for you. If you have a feedback rating of 10 or less please contact seller prior to bidding or your bid may be withdrawn by seller. Please feel free to ask any questions PRIOR TO BIDDING, Thank You! Seller reserves the right to end auction at any time (car is for sale locally in Dayton Ohio).
