We are selling our 2008 Jeep Commander Limited 4x4 with a salvage title. We have really enjoyed this vehicle and it has been perfect for our family. There is a rear backup camera and Jeep's MyGig Entertainment System, which has a 6.5-inch touchscreen and a 20-gigabyte hard drive to hold music and picture files and we installed two additional 7" DVD headrest screens. We have also installed the GMC lockpick which allows your iPod/iPhone/iPad to be plugged in and you can use with your steering wheel controls to access your media on the Entertainment System. You can also watch dvd's on the headrests and the navigation screen. It's a great system! This LIMITED is fully equipped with Leather. The leather is in very good condition. There are no rips and it looks really nice. The wood grain trim is also in great shape. Additional features include leather-wrapped steering wheel, dual-zone automatic climate control, Boston Acoustics speakers, power adjustable heated front seats, power adjustable pedals, third-row heat and ventilation, sunroof, rain-sensitive wipers, automatic headlights, universal garage door opener; and a security system. It also has a nice chromed grille and exterior chrome accents. This HEMI equipped Commander runs and drives perfect. With a 5.7-liter Hemi V8, producing 330 horsepower and 375 pound-feet of torque. The Hemi features the fuel-saving Multi-Displacement System (MDS) technology, which shuts down four of the eight cylinders under light-load conditions. Also has as Quadra-Trac II, a full-time active four-wheel-drive system that includes a two-speed transfer case; plus electronic traction control. The oil has been regularly changed. The tires are less than 1 year old and are top of the line Goodyear Forterra tires. The wheels also look nice and only have a few imperfections. We purchased the Commander as a salvage title and it still has a couple minor flaws. The "Check Engine" light stays on due to "Check Gas Cap" message. We have replaced the gas cap but the message still stays on. Our local dealer mentioned he has seen this before but we decided not to fix it. There are also scratches on the interior in the rear. This whole piece can be painted or replaced but we chose to leave it as it did not bother us. The exterior has an indention and I circled it with a red circle in the photos but it isn't noticable in most conditions. Please have financing ready before bidding.
