Vehicle Detail
For sale we have the above described 2000 Passat. The car belongs to my brother, so I am selling it for him. The car has every option available for the Passat that year, including the 4 Motion all wheel drive. The car has leather, heated and power seats, sunroof, cd changer, etc. The a/c blows cold. Everything worked on the car until it was in an accident. After the accident, the car started and drove fine (on to the trailer) with the exception of coolant running out of the radiator. The engine was NOT overheated, so not internal damage was done to the engine. The car has been sitting for about two months, and it would start right up. The car was doing about 5 mph hr, but hit a var that was doing about 50, so most of the impact was sideways across the front end. The airbags were never deployed and not affected by the collision. The rest of the body of the car is in great shape, with no noticeable rust, or any other body damage. the interior of the car would clean up great, with no stains, no cracks in the vinyl, and not tears in the seats. The only wear that I noticed on the inside was the lumbar area of the driver seat from getting in and out. It is very minor, but can seen in one of the interior photos. Neither me or my brother is a body man, so it may be difficult to answer specific questions about the damage, but please ask anything and I will try to get it answered. I can also take more photos of the damage if need be, so let me know. Car is going to sell to the highest bidder with no reserve, so good luck! A $200 deposit must be made via Paypal with 24 hours of the end of the auction, and the balance must be paid upon pick up of the car. Arrangements for pick up must be made within 72 hours of the end of the auction. That car can sit where it is at for a while if need be, but again arrangements must be made. Delivery could be arranged for an added charge, but any delivery arrangements should be made before the auction ends. Car is sold as is, no warranty. IMPORTANT: I received a notice this morning from Ebay that the VIN on the vehicle showed a salvaged / builder title. I was unaware of this yesterday, and apologize for any inconvenience. I am uncertain of the reason for the salvaged title, as it is not related to this front end accident. I will talk to my brother and maybe the previous owner to figure out why the title is not clean and post the reason here as soon as I know.
