On Dec-12-11 at 20:04:41 PST, seller added the following information: This is the origina engine that came in this last year of the SL70. I went back to the SL paint job with the white "sail wing" stripes because in my mind when you think SL you remember them. Topaz Orange was not the correct color for that year but it really looks good. In 1972 the frames were painted but the double dipped powdercoating is a nice touch that you will notice. The engine was completely torn down, center cases split, all gears and bearings shift forks inspected, HD clutch discs and springs. New 88cc jug that looks exactly like the stock jug, High compression piston and rings, head rebuilt using all new Honda OEM parts, new timing chain, gears, and chain rollers, new spark plug, points, and condenser. New sealed battery with twice the amps as stock meaning brighter lights, horn (new). New gasket set and oil seals, new kick start and shift lever rubber, all new fuel lines. Rebuilt carburetor, polished intake manifold, New K&N air filter. The bike starts on the first kick and runs strong. I have regeared the bike so it pulls long and hard though the gears. 30 min on it since the rebuild. Better pics are on there way. On Dec-13-11 at 20:48:58 PST, seller added the following information: Original NOS tires, new tubes, NOS Honda spoke set front and rear, new wheel bearings and seals, new brake shoes, polished brake backing plates and hubs, new drive chain and sprockets, new rubber sprocket dampeners and dust shield, OEM brake pedal and switch return springs. New shocks for the adult or child that are adjustable. Upgraded steering head bearings, new handlebar grips, new rubber tipped brake levers, new throttle tube, all correct gray throttle and clutch cables, I think you get the point.
