Vehicle Detail
This is a car dreams are made of This is my personal car and has not been offered for sale in almost 28 years, the car has been owned by my family since purchased out of South Carolina in 1983. The car has all of its orginal, rust free, perfect metal that it came with from the factory and has never never had any metal replaced or been wrecked. It drives and runs perfectly and is one of the best cruisers you will ever find. The car has less than 7,000 miles on it since its restoration with the total actual mileage at only 99,853. The paint still looks as perfect and new as it did the day we pulled it out of the paint booth, with the exception of one small ding from the inside out on the hood where the fan blade must have picked up a pebble or something and hit the inside of the hood. (photo of ding included) The car has been garage kept in a climate controlled environment for the past 28 years and was repainted in 1998 to its current paint job. The car was painted with a DuPont Urethane Action Pack with a Hardener. The interior is a custom designed, hand made glove leather and cloth interior that was built and installed in 2002. The motor is a 383 balanced and blueprinted stroker engine backed with a 350 turbo transmission with a mild shift kit that was installed in 2004. The pictures of this car do not do it justice, the car is just incredible in every way and looks and sound awsome in person. Look at all of the features of the car. 383 Stroker 420 hp balanced and blue printed engine:TRW power forged pistons5.7 GM pink rodsScat CrankshaftDart sportsmen heads with 2.02 intakes and 1.70 exhaust valvesElderbrock hi-rise aluminum intake750 double pumper Holley Carb with Vacuum secondariesAccel HEI distributor and 8mm wiresCustom headers with cut-outsAluminum valve coversComp 268 extreme energy cam with hydraulic lifter40 Series Flow-masters with 2.5" exhaustJ&W 10" 2800 stall converterAuxiliary electric fanMechanical fan and water pumpComp roller rockersManley push rods with push rod guidesCustom built 4 core Radiator 350 GM Turbo Transmission and Rear EndFreshly rebuiltMild shift kit.B&M floor shifterB&M polished Tee handle8.5 10 bolt GM with positraction and 3:08 gearsRear Leaf springs Air Shocks InteriorThird brake light (1955)61 Black three spoke steering wheelGlove leather and cloth combination custom interiorMatching cloth headliner with chrome bowsSeat BeltsAM/FM cassette with front and rear speakers and booster amp/equalizer80/20 loop pile carpet80/20 loop pile floor mats with Heartbeat of America embroiled in.ACTachometer and gauges Other featuresVintage Air ConditioningPower Disk front brakesRear drum brakesNew school SS Cragar 5 spoke 17" wheelsNew BF Goodrich Comp T/A 245/50 radials, front and rear New 6 Year 24 Delco batteryNew Grill, and head light bezelsAll stainless was refurb and polished out during the restoration And so much more to talk about, as you can see the car is tricked out nicely and is a incredible car.
