I am the second owner of this magnificent sports car. I have owned SL classes for over twenty years now. This model is exceptional as it is a light quick and nimble sports car reminiscent of the old MGs Triumphs and Jaguars. The greatest attribute however is this car has been virtually trouble free. I've had to do nothing but scheduled maintenance. That's it. I'm selling it just because I simply don't drive it much as it has been a third leisure car for me as you can tell by the mileage. I bought this car locally around 2002 with about 10 000 miles and a full original warranty on it. Never used the warranty for anything. The car is simply, basic and very trouble free. I have generally kept this car garaged for most of it's time with me. It has the sports package which includes AMG wheels, ground effects, leather interior, rare 5 speed manual transmission. Tires are high performance and replaced within the past 5000 miles. I have all documentation available. All maintenance done by a local certified mercedes , and mercedes only mechanic. The only thing that does not work is the CD changer located in the trunk. The front ground effect skirt has been cracked from me parking too close to a parking stop. I was warned about this when I bought the car but nevertheless I still bumped it. I never fixed it as I was sure I would do it again. Also there is a small "ding" in the back panel. I provided clear pictures of these items. I have been an e bayer since Marhc of 1998 with perfect feedback, This car will not dissapoint. If your in Maryland I will be happy to get a Maryland inspection done.
