This is a beautiful restored original low mileage 1947 Ford Super Deluxe Club Coupe Convertible Model 79A. The car has been well cared for and wonderfully maintained it's whole life. It has always been garaged and never used in bad weather. The top is in beautiful condition and I believe it is a LeBaron Bonney top. The car has a it's original power top, restored at restoration and it operates as it should. The top boot is new and in the box and comes with the car. The engine compartment and trunk are very nicely detailed and the trunk has it's proper trim and mat. The interior is original with exception to the door panels which were replaced at restoration with the proper LeBaron Bonney panels. The back seat is original and in amazing condition for the age. The front seat has an early seat cover on it and the condition of the original material underneath is unknown. Not sure if the cover has been on it since new, or installed at a later time. The back floor has it's original carpeting in beautiful shape and the front rubber mat is exceptional. The paint shines like a mirror and the chrome is beautiful. The side mirrors are the swan style and I believe they were an accessory in 1947. The engine, transmission etc. were completely gone through at restoration and the car runs and rides like a dream. I wouldn't be afraid to drive it anywhere. The original 6 volt system was converted to 8 volt. This is a common conversion and makes the car an easy car to start. The car is also equipped with accessory turn signals and an original accessory Ford back up light. I also have the original glass tail light lenses that go with the car. The one's on the car are reproduction glass with the blue dot. This is one of the nicest 47 Ford Convertibles you will find. You do not often see them and they are rapidly appreciating in value.
