This auction is for a 1971 Toyota Land Cruiser. This is the original FJ cruiser! The Landcruiser came out from Colorado. This is a project that needs some minor finishing to be a nice little cruiser. The body is really straight for the year. The floors and tub are nice and solid. It has been painted. It is dark blue and has a nice shine. The top is black. The doors need to be repainted as they are a darker shade then the rest of the Landcruiser. I did not even realize this until I hung the doors. The drivers side door has a dent on the top of it; Pictured. All the glass is good to include the nice looking corner windows. Everything works good on this little cruiser. The lights, heat, wipers, and horn all work. The engine runs strong and smooth. It is the original straight six cylinder. The four wheel drive works good, and the standard transmission shifts smoothly. The previous owners put a lot of work into the running gear. The front and rear wheel cylinders were replaced. New rear drums and shoes. New master cylinder. New wheel bearings and seals, and partial brake lines. The seat frames are painted, but need to be reupholstered. I dropped them off at a local business to be reupholstered, but they sat there for 2 months, and were never done. This is a very nice solid cruiser that needs some finishing, and would be great for cruising. It really needs the seats to be redone, and bolted in, and 4 new tires. Then you could drive it. If you want a show winning Landcruiser then you will obviously need to put more work into it. It is a real solid Landcruiser; Not a bondo buggy.
