I really hate to do this, but I am selling my 1977 AMC Hornet with the AMX package. The car has a 304 cid V8 engine, is automatic, and it runs great. This car is extremely rare, it was the last year the Hornet was in production, and it is only getting harder and harder to find one. (which is why it kills me to sell it.) After some research I found that the total production of the 1977 AMC Hornet AMX is 5,207 units, with 3,196 being six cylinder cars and only 2,011 with V8 power. How many are left over 34 years later? By my guess, it would be not many. I have never seen another Hornet like mine. Wherever I go I get lots of thumbs up and smiles from other drivers on the road. Many adults remember the car and they all say they haven't seen one in a very long time, especially in this great of condition. It has the sport rally gauges, targa band, fender flares, rear window louvers, and the AMX logo on the side. It has 93,439 miles, and it currently is being stored in the garage. There are a few rust spots on the car, and they are all included in the pictures. The interior is great except for one tear in the driver side seat, which is also included in the pictures.
