Vehicle Detail
You are bidding on a 1976 Ford Mustang II Stallion with 2.8 liter V-6 and four-speed manual transmission. It stopped running three years ago and has been sitting since. Needs new radiator and carburetor. Was burning oil when running. Transmission has difficulty shifting into reverse. Driver's seatbelt return is broken. A/C and heater not working. Steering rack leaks. Rear axle flange bent. Brakes experience run-out. Headliner is separating at the deck, but is not torn or sagging. Driver's seat has been re-upholstered. The rest are in good original condition. Body is straight. Most rust is surface rust. There are only a couple of small spots of rust-through in front of the rear right wheel well, and next to the right tail light (pictured below). There are small dents in the rear bumper. My father has been the only owner of this car, and I'm selling it for him. If you have any questions, or want more photos, please feel free to ask. Pick-up must be arranged by buyer. On Dec-02-11 at 10:44:58 PST, seller added the following information:I've updated my Photobucket album with more photos. You can access the album by clicking one of the above photos. My father says the RTV sealant you see around the rear window was added as a preventative measure when the original hatch was replaced, and that the current one has no holes or leaks. The rear bumper is cracked at the bottom on both sides. All of the hubcaps are gone, though my father may still have one left somewhere. On Dec-02-11 at 19:01:28 PST, seller added the following information:Purchaser is responsible for removing the entire car from the lot. You don't have to take it home, but you can't leave it here.On Dec-03-11 at 10:45:42 PST, seller added the following information:The correct VIN is 6F03Z115242. My father has the owner's manual and other documents that came with the car. On Dec-04-11 at 01:38:55 PST, seller added the following information:There's a rounded strip of black rubber or plastic below the front bumper that has broken in two. It looks like it broke either when the car was parked, or since. Below is a photo of the car from May 1977. It isn't very clear as it was taken directly from a slide, but it's the best digitization I can come up with before the end of the auction.
