A deal for someone. I bought this car five years ago and have over $15000 in it. Zimmer Corporation made less than 200 Quick Silver models, the car sold for $48000 in 1986 and the cost, I think, was just too high at that time. It was advertized as the car with no options because it had everything. It is a fun car to drive, always a crowd around when you pull in somewhere. This car has been parked for a couple of years and when I tried to start it, it turned over great and started when a little gas was poured in the air cleaner. I think either a wiring ground problem or a fuel pump. Couple things that need repaired, right head light cover needs replaced, I have a cover, just needs installed. Starting problem needs fixed and there is some surface rust on the left lower door panel. I have been layed off for a couple of years and I am going to sell this Zimmer for a lot less than I have in it. Please ask any questions before bidding. On Nov-30-11 at 21:25:44 PST, seller added the following information: Several people have asked if this is a kit car, it is not. It was hand made by the Zimmer Corporation, they bought the car off the assembly line from GM and installed their own body and interior. Zimmer is still in business and sells four models of the Golden Spirit. Also the surface rust on the left door is not in the panel, it is on the lower door molding. I have just been told by a person that knows Zimmers that the molding on the lower left door does not rust, it is stainless steel and just needs to be polished.
