This beautiful 36 Chevy was one of the most luxurious and best engineered car in its time, finished in timeless coach work. This particular car was the subject of a $70k restoration in 2000-2001. This car looks stunning with its Regatta Red paint finish with matching "Artillery Wheels" finished in classic white wall tires. The interior is a gorgeous correct Mohair tan interior with beautiful wood accents. This is a great looking and driving 36 Chevy that is rust free. This car has been driven and enjoyed, while its not a fresh frame off restoration it would still make for an excellent Museum car, parade car, or to add to your collection. The 36 Chevy was an important part of American Automotive history and served up many standard features that were unavailable in rival manufacturers and is a must have for any collector. This car can be purchased for a fraction of its actual cost to build. Most of these cars have either rotted away or have been turned into Hot Rods. There are very few left in original, unmolested form. This car has a lovely patina that gives the car a very nice look and since the car isnt flawless and perfect... it means you can actually drive the car and enjoy it without worrying about destroying its value. Click to enlarge Exterior: This 1939 Chevy looks great with its beautiful Regatta Red paint and contrasting white wall tires. This car was restored sometime in the early 2000s and has been used since. The paint job has some areas where some touch up paint has been applied but overall the car still looks very nice. As you can see from the detailed photos of the car, this Master Deluxe looks great. You could easily bring this car to a car show and show it with pride. The Chrome and stainless on the car are in excellent shape. . It really does look as good as it does in the pictures. This car gets thumbs up as you drive down the road and plenty of attention at the gas pump. Click to enlarge Interior: The interior of this classic Chevrolet is in very nice condition. The car was completely reupholstered during the restoration and is holding up very well and only shows minor wear. The dash board is in very nice shape and I love the classic radio and dials. The wood trim on the inside of the car is all present and in excellent condition. The steering wheel and emblem also appear to be original and in nice shape. The clock is actually operational but is hooked up to a switch to keep it from draining the battery. The radio is currently not working but appears to be all there. All of the gauges have been rebuilt and are in excellent working order. The headliner is nice and tight and not sagging. The interior of this car is simply VAST. All of your friends or family can ride in and enjoy this classic car. This is a great car to go to the local car show in or if there is still one left in your town... the Drive-In. Overall the interior of this car is in nice shape and has a nice level of patina.. Click to enlarge Engine: The 36 Chevy straight six fires right up and runs like a top. The car blows no smoke on start up or while driving. The engine bay looks very factory, still sporting its factory air cleaner set up. The car runs nice and cool even in Arizonas hot and dry climate. This engine would serve as the basis for Americas favorite sports car, the 1953 Corvette. The 3 speed transmission is smooth running and shifting. The car rides smoothly and tracks nicely down the road with its "Revolutionary" knee action front suspension. The brakes work excellent and stop this car with ease. The car is a joy to motor around town in. This is a great car to waste the weekend away in.
