1990 Jeep Cherokee XJ . This is an awesome rig with the everlast 4.0 engine and auto tranny. All matching very good Michelin A/T 31" tires. Mechanicals work on it as it should. I have only used it as a get to work vehicle, but I wouldnt be afraid to drive this little beast for a long trip anywhere. Note - this does not have air conditioning. It has had the 'a/c delete' & 'alternator move up' done on it. Hand crank windows... awww yes, no worries of the buggy Jeep electric windows! Receiver hitch, push bar with working off road lights & two front tow hooks. Always starts good, When it's cold it tends to surge mildly while idling. Once it warms up, its fine. Things I have done to it. Water pump was just recently replaced. New lower radiator hose and new thermostat and thermostat housing & new belt. I havent installed the electric auxilary fan in it yet, but will before its purchased. It works fine and is operated by a toggle switch when and if you need extra cooling. It runs way cool without it but if you were slow 4 wheeling on a very hot day it could be a nice feature. Brake Booster was just replaced as well. When the pedal is pressed you can hear some vacuum noise. Im not sure what causes this as the booster is new. The new booster is however working properly & the brakes work. I also replaced the upper fuel injector o- rings. The rear windshield wiper does not work. It has one window crank on the back door that the plastic broke. Easy fix, as the window itself works. It has two spare tires, the original donut with the cover and a 31". No major leaks. The power steering pump drips some but not anything excessive. Valve cover gasket seeps some. Minor things but no surprises here. Exhaust hanger has some vibration noise and muffler may be going. It doesnt drive or ride like a Lincoln...its a Jeep after all! Its not new anymore, but its a respectable Jeep with the timeless XJ body style! Has a heavy duty 800 plus cranking amps battery in it. Heater, wipers, lights, radio all that good stuff works. It does have some lower underside rockers rust and a small bubble rust by the passenger side door handle.This of course is a 1990 and sold as is. All sales final/no returns. I have a new one on order and will install it before the sale. If I dont have time and or the weather does not permit I will give the winning bidder the injector. The injector is leaking very little, however I would recommend replacing it before driving long distances.
