It is with great regret that I am listing my 1995 BMW 540i M Sport. For those of you who don't know about these rare cars and what sets them apart from a normal 540i you can go to Kindel.com for lots of info on these Exclusive Edition cars (1 of 135!) I'm the 3rd meticulous owner of this car, the importing BMW dealer kept it for several years then sold it to a longtime BMW club member I've owned it the last 6 or 7 years.It has never been my daily driver, mostly I used it once a week to drive apr. 150 miles round trip for my business. The car is exceptional is every way, the paint is almost perfect with only a few chips on the front spoiler, the interior is perfect except for wear on the shift knob and very slight wear on the driver seat. The car pulls hard all the way to the governed speed of 155 MPH. (you shift out of third at 110!) the brakes almost give you a nose bled it stops so well, and with the Nurburgring & Adaptive-M suspension set on firm plus the front and rear spoiler, 150mph feels safe and comfortable! (only with a professional driver on a closed track, of course!) This is a great car in great condition and should make any new owner proud. The car listed when new around $73000 (the Sport package added about $8000 and the ASC+T added around $1500) I have added a few upgrades... B&B exhaust $989... BMW factory rear spoiler $1200... Custom Audiophile stereo $3000 I just bought a M3 to replace this car so I' m listing it at a starting bid of $6000 with no reserve and will sell it to the highest bidder! In late 1995, BMW brought to America for one year only 200 of these special Exclusive Edition 540i Sport models, 135 of them had the 6-speed manual transmission and the rest (65) had the automatic.They did this by using almost all of the parts that went into the European 1995 6-cylinder E34 ///M5, except the engine and transmission.
