Hello, you are bidding or looking at my 2005 Saab 9 2x. In 05 and 06 Saab needed a small wagon to put in their showrooms and since GM had shares in Saab and Subaru they put new front fenders and new hood on a Subaru Impreza and called it a 9 2x and just shipped it to the USA market. So this is a Subaru WRX with all the bells and whistles with a leather interior. It has everything you can get on a Subaru and all works just fine. If you Google 92x you can get the full story. Now back to this 9 2x. I am the second owner excluding dealer transfers. In the last three months I have put a lot of work and money into making this car very nice both in looks and mechanical. I replaced the front rotors and pads (they didn’t really need any) with Brembo rotors and Akebono pads. This combo work great and really keeps the brake dust down. I replaced all tires with new and had a four wheel alignment done, very necessary with this model and new tires. Installed new battery, a Motorola IHF1000 Bluetooth phone system, and a trailer hitch because my wife likes to take her bicycle to our local beach. The front bumper had some rock chips but no body damage so I had a local paint shop repaint the bumper and he made me a good deal to repaint the hood and front fenders. Again no body damage just some minor rock chips, anyway, it looks great in pearl black. The interior is immaculate. No sun damage, no cracks, and just looks great. I had a local independent Subaru shop install a cold intake air system which is California smog legal and change the sparkplugs. I have changed all oil and filters including transmission oil and filter. Now for something special, I have an “Access Port”. (Google for more information) With this you can choose the performance of the car from economical to rally sport. It has about five settings. You can put in in valet mode and let a friend borrow and the car will not allow the engine to rev over 3000rpms or in thief mode which allows engine to start but then dies. All of this is done with a small hand held computer that plugs into the OB2 connection. I keep it in the economy mode which improves mileage and still gives lots of power. This car is a turbo intercooler 4 cylinder boxer engine and AWD. You really need to see this car up close, it is very pretty. Go Kart handling. I would like to sell it in the local area. I have it advertised in other places so I reserve the right to cancel. It breaks my heart to sell this car, but things have changed it has to go. My loss is your gain. I know I will never recoup the money or time I have put into this car. This car is ready to go across town or across country. I have a copy of a clean Carfax and a clear California title. This car always kept in garage or under cover or both. Car cover goes with car. If it is sold to California residence, I will provide a smog cert. Sorry for such a long description.
