This auction is for a 1974 Opel Manta, a real Rallye model. It's Ford Grabber blue with factory black striping and black Rallye hood. It has the 1.9L motor and standard 4 speed transmission. Also features the tachometer in the dash and other Manta Rallye features. Lots of extra goodies in the engine compartment, even a set of Recaro type seats with modified brackets to work with this car. Not rusted, not dented up or trash, a real nice original LA rust free southern California car, this car has a neat story in that some 7 years ago Todd gave it to Tammy as a Christmas present, this was some 7 cars earlier from Tammy's current car. We always joke about how many times cars come back to us from Opels Unlimited and Opel Enthusiast Club. It's the funniest story, a customer told us that they actually entered a pick a part and told us that this car should be looked after and saved, so we looked into it and Todd right away liked it well enough to pay the $1200 to save the car. When he brought it home all happy with his purchase...I took one look at it and realized that I had owned this car before, It was the funniest thing, within an hour I had found the original title in my name and and the original Christmas card that Todd from Opels Unlimited had given to me some 7 years before. Perhaps that's why it has so many Opel guy goodies everywhere throughout this car. People at the pick a part said that they saw the car come in and that it started right up and ran. How on earth it didn't just come directly back to us we will never know. This has happened before, This is not the first time that we have saved a car in a pick a part that we have owned before.
