DOES NOT RUN... MUST BE TOWED! Excellent Condition! It is with great dissappointment that I must sell my Beautiful 1998 Jaguar XJ8 sedan here. I was told that the timing belt skipped by my mechanic. He then attempted to tear down the motor and replace the timing chain.........little did he know there are 4 timing chains in these cars, duh! I have since fired that mechanic. I have all the parts in the car to put it back together buy unfortunately I do not have the mechanical skills to do so and I refuse to bring it to a Jaguar mechanic and pay the labor bill to do it. I love the car but for $2000 I can buy another that is running. :( So if you are a Jaguar mechanic and you have the right skills and tools to set the time than here is an early Christmas present. I will sell it to the highest bidder because it is depressing to look at everyday and not be able to drive it.
