For sale is a 1979 Chevy Malibu. I am the third owner of this car and the body is in very good shape. The top and seats are showing their age and there are a few dings here and there, the worst one being above the drivers door. The engine in the car is the original 305 V-8 and the transmission is the original 200M, both of these will need replaced. The engine got hot due to the plastic tank on the radiator cracking, I replaced the radiator but the engine spun a rod bearing. The transmission was acting up when I purchased the car, but I drove it for 2 years like it was. The car has a descent set of BFG T/A tires and a really nice set of ralley wheels. I stripped and re-painted the wheels when I bought the car back to the factory Argent Silver. I installed a Grant GT steering wheel which is still in nice shape. I had planned to install a 350/ TH350 in this car, but unfortunately have not the time or money to make this happen.
