Hello, up for your consideration is a pristene 1973 ford maverick.. Car was found stored in a garage since 1979. YES, this is one of those grandpa stories where he passed away and it stayed parked until the grandson who pestered granny for years wanting the car finally gave in. He found out really quick after rolling it out that it needed more than he wanted to mess with. The trans pan has a seep and so does the valve cover gasket. You can hit the key and she purrs like a kitten though and trans shifts perfectly.. The brakes are what needs repair.. You can drive it but you have to pump them and then it wants to pull one way or the other badly.. Air in brake lines.. Car is an original southern beauty who wouldnt know anything about road salt.. Shes as rust-free as a car can get.. Absolutly perfect. The original paint is still halfway decent, and the interior is mostly complete minus the door armrest pads. Has all 4 matching original wheels and hubcaps.. glass is mint, the doors open and shut like brand new.. Totally stunning blast from the past. You would be hard pressed to find a time capsule maverick like this ANYWHERE in the world.. Its almost 40 years old and impossibly complete and untouched by chop happy drag racers and teen age kids..
