This 1965 Mercury Park Lane Convertible was purchased brand new right here in the valley at Frank J Sanders. It's an all original "barn find" that has been sitting since 1992. It appears to have never been in an accident and looks to be very complete. We checked it over pretty well and found rust in the trunk area but the floors, frame, etc. all look good. The gas tank will need to be cleaned but we did run an external gas line to the engine to test it and it runs well. The convertible top frame is excellent but it needs a new top. The power top motor works but the switch is broken and needs to be replaced. We installed a new set of Coker Classic tires. It has some nice options including the Super Marauder Package that includes the 390 V8, air conditioning, power steering, power brakes and power top. This is a great car for restoration and a nice American classic. It's located here in Fresno, California and can be seen anytime. We are selling this car for a private owner as part of an estate (they inherited it) and it has no reserve. It runs well, goes into drive, reverse, etc. and the brakes do work. Keep in mind this car has been sitting for many years so it needs to be checked over before you take it out on the road. It's good to drive up on a transporter or trailer no problem.
